Photography Services

Nellie Bug Photography specializes in outdoor portrait photography, including senior portraits, family portraits, couples, engagements, intimate weddings and elopements, seasonal sessions, and specialty sessions. Photography services are provided as described at the time of booking. Session availability, locations, pricing, included images, and other details may vary by collection or seasonal offering.

Booking & Retainers

A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve a session date unless otherwise stated for a specific promotion, mini session, or specialty event. The retainer is applied toward the total session investment. A session date is not considered officially reserved until the required retainer has been received. The retainer must generally be paid within 24 hours of receiving booking information unless another arrangement has been made in writing.

Pricing

Prices and session offerings may change at any time due to increases in the cost of operating the business, including photography equipment, editing software, professional services, materials, supplies, venue fees, and other business-related expenses. The price and package confirmed at the time of booking will apply to your session unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Promotional pricing, flash sales, mini sessions, and limited-time collections may have different terms and may not be combined with other offers.

Rescheduling & Cancellation

Your session date and time are reserved exclusively for you. Once booked, that time is no longer offered to another client. Regular portrait sessions may be rescheduled one time, subject to photographer availability. Additional rescheduling requests may require a new retainer or session fee. Rescheduling does not guarantee the availability of the original date, time, location, or session conditions. A new date and time must be agreed upon by both the client and photographer. Seasonal, mini, limited-time, specialty, and special-event sessions are offered on specific dates and under specific conditions. Rescheduling these sessions is not guaranteed and may not be possible due to venue availability, weather, seasonal conditions, or limited scheduling.

Weather

Nellie Bug Photography specializes in outdoor photography. Sessions are photographed outdoors and are dependent on suitable weather and outdoor conditions. If it is raining, severe weather is present, or conditions are otherwise unsuitable for outdoor photography, the session will not take place as scheduled and will be rescheduled. The photographer has sole discretion to determine whether weather and outdoor conditions are suitable for photography. Clients are expected to respect this decision and should not arrive expecting a session to proceed when conditions have been determined to be unsuitable. Weather-related rescheduling is subject to photographer availability and does not guarantee the availability of the original date, time, or location.

Locations & Travel

Photography sessions are outdoors only. Indoor sessions are not offered. All session locations must be approved by the photographer in advance. The photographer has final authority over location selection and may require an alternative location when necessary. A $75 travel fee applies to locations outside the listed regular service areas.

Session Participation

Clients are responsible for arriving on time and being prepared for their scheduled session. Late arrival may reduce the amount of time available for photography. For sessions involving children, parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children throughout the session.

Image Delivery

Final edited images are delivered through an online gallery Typical gallery turnaround is approximately 2–4 weeks, although delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary depending on workload, season, holidays, illness, technical issues, or other circumstances.

Editing & Artistic Style

Nellie Bug Photography maintains a consistent editing style. All images are edited at the photographer's discretion and in accordance with that established artistic style. Editing may include adjustments to exposure, color, contrast, skin tones, and other elements as part of the photographer's normal post-processing. Requests for editing outside of the photographer's established style will be declined.

Copyright

All photographs created by Nellie Bug Photography remain the copyrighted property of the photographer. Clients receive the digital images included with their purchased collection for personal use. Images may not be commercially sold, licensed, altered, or used for commercial purposes without written permission from Nellie Bug Photography.

Website Content

All website content, including photographs, written content, graphics, branding, and design elements, belongs to Nellie Bug Photography unless otherwise noted. Website content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without permission.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated as the business, services, or policies change.
